We currently have an exciting opportunity to manage the Yacht Expedition department, working closely with the Director of Yachting. You’ll be responsible for managing and overseeing Yacht Expeditions in multiple jurisdictions. You will establish and manage processes and procedures to allow the smooth running of all Yacht Expeditions liaising with Brokers, Central Agencies, Management Companies, Captains, and Clients. You will have an ability to identify and predict bottle necks and pinch points and forward plan to solve problems and maintain global growth and momentum.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be solutions focussed and a strategic thinker.
A background in Yachting is key and you will need to demonstrate a track record of achievements in a similar role within the Yacht industry. Having an established network of industry contacts, along with experience of working in fast-paced environments that require laser-focused prioritisation would be beneficial.

Core Responsibilities
Logistics: Full responsibility for all project logistics, including itineraries, contingencies, safety procedures, equipment sourcing and ownership of all aspects of logistics and costing of trips. Ensuring all communications, safety procedures, permits, travel requirements and insurance are in place.
Yacht Expedition planning: creating numerous options and ideas for clients to choose from. Working closely with Captains, Agents, local authorities, and subject matter experts from around the world and ensuring that each detail is thought through to deliver a world class experience.
Business Development: full responsibility for sales and marketing of Yacht Expeditions to private clients and across the industry. Attending yacht shows and organising industry events.
Management: as member of the Pelorus leadership team, report to Directors and be prepared to manage a small project team. Ensure high standards of client and supplier management.
Project finances: work with the Directors, oversee all trip costing to ensure all aspects are covered including, contingencies, invoices, payments to suppliers, consultants and relevant third parties.
Experience
Experience of 5+ years in the Yachting industry, ideally in a senior-level role
Established network of contacts in Yachting
Demonstrated history of meeting targets and operational success
Outstanding problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
Impeccably organised and accurate in execution
Analytical mindset and digital proficiency
Experience of fast-paced environments that require laser-focused prioritisation.
