Anna Lord

Travel Executive

After graduating from Exeter University, Anna briefly explored the property sector before realising that her true passion lay in the travel industry. Prior to university, she spent significant time in Africa, particularly in Zimbabwe, where she worked on a wildlife estate, taking horse safaris and living the farm life. This ignited her love for nature and the outdoors.

She then embarked on a road trip through Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, soaking in the rich landscapes and wildlife. Even while studying at university, Anna opted to take her exams from the farm in Zimbabwe, unable to stay away from the bush. Along the way, she has travelled to many other places around the world and can't wait to explore even more. Now, as a travel executive, she is excited to channel her passion for adventure and nature into creating unforgettable experiences for others.

Number one unforgettable travel experience?

An unforgettable experience for me was walking with three beautiful orphan elephants in Zimbabwe. Being the first stranger to walk with these gentle giants was both daunting and exhilarating. It was a truly unique experience to be in the presence of these magnificent animals

Top of your travel bucket list?

After reading The Secrets of the Silk Road by Alexandra Tolstoy, riding horseback through the vast, ancient landscapes of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, or China has become a top dream of mine. Antarctica is also high up on my bucket list, where I would love to experience the frozen wildlife and attempt a freezing plunge.

Who is your ultimate travel partner?

My sisters, who are always ready for an adventure and bring endless enthusiasm to every journey.
