Growing up in Dorset, Olivia developed a profound love for the outdoors, nature, and conservation. After completing her university studies, she embarked on a journey in the travel industry with a luxury skiing company. Her passion for wildlife inspired her to volunteer at safari camps in Africa, leading to a role hosting at a high-end safari lodge in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park.

Upon returning from Zambia, the pandemic disrupted her plans to re-enter the travel sector, prompting her to work as an operations manager for a venture capital company in London for a couple of years. Despite this detour, her desire to return to travel remained strong, and in October, Olivia joined our team, ready to bring her rich experiences and enthusiasm for adventure back to the industry.

Number one unforgettable travel experience?

One evening in Laikipia, as we were coming back from a game drive, we came across a pack of wild dogs hunting. We followed them during their hunt, and witnessing the chase—with a hyena closely trailing behind—was truly special.

Top of your travel bucket list?

While my travel wish list is extensive, a top destination for me is Svalbard for ski touring. The combination of sailing through the pristine Arctic waters, anchoring in secluded fjords, and skiing on untouched slopes is my idea of the ultimate adventure.

Who is your ultimate travel partner?

My ultimate travel companion would have to be my sister. With endless energy and enthusiasm she’s always up for the next big adventure. Her amazing sense of humour means that even when plans go sideways, she’s the first to laugh rather than cry!
